This one was pretty easy compared to the girls, I think that happens most often when im drawing male characters, maybe because im just drawing them and not worrying about them being supe cute each time

=p

this guy is gona be a lot of fun to draw, after reading some of his lines in the comic, he's easily one of my favorite characters

SUPER EXCITING!!!!

Well well well, it would appear that all my hard work has payed off because my good friend at Marvel (yes THE Marvel, Marvel Entertainment) has passed my stuff on to a talent director. He offered me the chance to do a 6 page test script for them to showcase my skills drawing their characters in an actual Marvel Comic "Runaways" XD XD XD

Need less to say, I am ecstatic! WOOOOOOOHOOOOOOO!!!!!!

Okay, so step 1
Familiarize myself with how im gona draw these characters. I managed to get the four main characters sketched out today, and I'm liking the look i made for them.

1 Nico Minoru- a daughter of dark wizards, so a witch character essentially
2. Gertrude Yorkes- her parents were time travelers and she has a pet velociraptor
3. Karolina Dean - parents were aliens, making her an energy being type character
4. Molly Hayes- Mutant, super duper strong little girl

I can't wait to get this off the ground, this is sooo aswesome! =D

Took that sketch to finish, i guess its finish, its soooo sloppy, (not that you can see it but i can) I am running myself ragged, I doubt ill get anything REALLY polished this last semester, and Im stuck in classes that just suck and are of no help and are really streching me thin, i think everythings just gona be sloppy for awhile =p

I felt like i hadn't captured the male character as well as the woman so I decided to do a few more sketches

here is the other character, as I promised, Im really excited about this one. Ive never done a black character before and I was just thinking about how I should. I think conveying ethnicity is really tough, especially with a style like manga where everything is greatly simplified.

The Lioness

This western thing has gotten under my skin lately. Also, i seem to have this fixation with coats with fur hoods, i think it make people look like lions, or at least lion hearted. Workin on a project that involves making a movie poster by combining two well known movies. I came up with Franken-Patra and Robocop Vs. Barbarella. Heres the comps for them. I'm only gona do one, so help me pick =D

Market Page

Here is a finish on the sketch I did a couple of days ago. Came out alright. I'm getting better but I think this is starting to look like if Jeff Smith decided to do manga. I want to get more loose and fluid, and I think I need to start inking more so I can get the fluidity that I'm after. A friend of mine showed me a manga, ( or maybe a manhwe) today called dogs and it maid me feel so clunky xp
